Golden Quill PR

Golden Quill PR is a boutique PR agency based in Wollongong, NSW. Founded by former television journalist Katie Gallagher, Golden Quill PR works with small businesses to secure earned media opportunities that boost credibility and brand awareness.

Before you take your story to the world, there are a couple of things to have lined up. First of all, you'll need professional photos. Make sure you have some personal branding photos taken and some professional product photos (if applicable).  Check with the photographer about commercial licensing. Secondly, think about whether you want to sign up to an affiliate platform, like Impact. If you want more information about this, feel free to send me an email. 

Nope! We run things a bit differently here at Golden Quill PR and work per project. This is perfect for small businesses who don't have a large budget for ongoing PR. I will work with you on a specific campaign (e.g. Christmas Gift Guides, a new product launch, general brand awareness) and then once we wrap up, you're free to seek PR support elsewhere, do it yourself or book in for another campaign at a later date. 

My speciality is in earned media- that is, features you earn on merit (not sponsored articles). You pay for my services and there are no hidden or extra costs. If a journalist responds to our pitch suggesting a sponsored article or a product giveaway, I will always touch base with the client to see if this is an option they want to pursue. 

Of course you can! Don't let your revenue (or lack thereof) get in the way of a good story! My job is to help uncover your most newsworthy angles and find the right outlets to pitch to. I have had tremendous success working with small businesses who haven't been making the big bucks. Who knows! Maybe our campaign will see your sales skyrocket! It does happen! 

Possibly! Haha! I get asked this question a lot, and the answer is always- it depends. My background in TV journalism means I know what makes a great TV story, and I have had clients featured on Sunrise, the Today Show, A Current Affair, Studio 10 and more, but it's not a guarantee.
