Hello! Thank you for dropping by. I'm Katie Gallagher, the friendly face and wordsmith behind Golden Quill PR. I have worked in the media industry for a decade, with a Journalism degree and quite a few bylines under my belt.
For years I worked as a TV news reporter and presenter, covering everything from natural disasters, murder trials, politics, tourism, education, even therapy alpacas! I LOVE talking with people, and this job taught me that everyone has a story if you take the time to listen.
Fast forward to 2021 and I became a Mum to a beautiful little boy. While on maternity leave, I thought about using my writing skills, news sense and insider knowledge to help entrepreneurs get REALLY seen. I realised there was huge demand for reliable, trustworthy, public relations consultants that weren't going to charge the world, so Golden Quill PR (formerly Katie Gallagher PR) was born.
I'm a proud Mum to two adorable little children, Alex and Olivia, two cheeky Labradors, Ruby and Luna, and work while juggling stay-at-home-mum life.
I am also the PR Coach for SHE-com, the world's leading program for women in e-commerce, and was a Judge for the Inside Small Business Top 50 Small Business Leaders in 2025.
